Elenwen’s Makeover

I accidentally overwrote Elenwen’s appearance with another mod, so ended up having to sift through a passel of NPC mods to figure out which one she came from– Inhabitants of Skyrim– version 1.

This is Elewen as she shipped:

Elenwen wants to speak to your manager.

So, yeah. She’s looking rather perky and youthful, so I will have to tone that down a bit and think about things like eye color and body mesh and so on. I … I think I will keep that haircut, though.

New ENB skin shaders

I think I’ve finally gotten things under control. I had some bad eye reflections and other issues with the new ENB binaries (not so new anymore, .366), but that’s resolved now. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it work with the eye meshes I wanted to use.

That’s Snapdragon/ (I think) Tetro’s Choice LUT and ELFX; wow, is that blue. But it looks really good without a whole lot of tweaking and it’s nice and bright.  Erdi’s skin is Bijin Skin, which looks quite nice. I  may swap it out for Erdi, though. I think of her as being more pale-skinned.

Outside shots: Also very blue! It’s not as useful out off doors for all purposes, but it’s certainly dramatic. Shadows are ink blue and took a lot of fiddling.

Let’s try this again– Announcements and New Stuff

Over the past few months, I’ve been editing Cyrelian’s story and posting it up over on Archive of Our Own. It’s now titled Sentiment.

I expect it to be the first of several works in the series, and I’m busy working on the second one.

Erdi’s story  is now titled Golden Knight, and I’ll be posting it once the time comes. It’ll be a related work, but it won’t be part of the same series since it has no romance and is not rated Explicit. I assume I’ll have to rate it Mature just for Ahtar’s language, though!

I’ve managed to write a bit of Marcus’ story though he, of course, has been difficult.

In the meantime, here’s some stuff I’ve been working on.

This is my original version of Elenwen, from a mod called Inhabitants of Skyrim.

It’s an older NPC overhaul but I think it does a good job of staying true to the original sculpts of the characters. And Elenwen’s hairstyle is completely on point here. Yes, she does want to speak with the manager.

I need to rework her just a tiny bit; she’s certainly not as young as she appears, here.
