The screenshots at the start are especially good on this one. I love the composition in the third one – the Radiant Raiment sister throwing the coinpurse in the air in the foreground, as the guard stood in front of her mirrors her pose. There’s a fantastic symmetry to it, and the picture alone tells the story perfectly.
I know I’ve already told you this, but I adore what you’ve done with so many of Solitude’s NPCs and locations – Radiant Raiment most of all. Their being lovers and using “sisters” as a clever euphemism was a nice touch, as well as the shop being a front for underground smuggling/rescuing of elves on the run (amongst other things). Who’s going to suspect the two haughty, statuesque Altmer ladies that keep Solitude’s most important people well dressed? Nobody, that’s who.
Poor Cyrelian. It couldn’t at all have been easy making it out of the traumatic experience that was his final encounter with Hinnaro, but he would’ve saved himself a world of hurt if he’d just been half accurate with Lorion. Then again, it was presumably the world of hurt he was already in that caused him to be less than accurate. And then with Auryen? Give the poor mer a break, he’s been through some shit.
Here’s hoping he gets a nice mug of mead and a good night’s sleep at the Skeever.
I’m glad you liked the setups– those were the first of the orchestrated shots I did. The coinpurse one took me about an hour– that guard in the background is the PC. Also– note his boots? Those’ll show up again later, on the Stormcloak sympathizers.
Those screenshots were taken on the Solitude Skyway, which is a mood that puts a whole bunch of walkways along the arch, down to its base in Hjaalmarch. The reason for the tight crop in the shot with Cyr and his bloody bandages is that it was kind of a crappy picture and I had to mess around with it a lot.
I also started doing some color correction with these images, though just at a glance I can see that I didn’t do then what I do now. You can still see some of the filtering that the ENB put on there. I switch ENBs rather a lot trying to get the right images. Some of the interior shots are quite dark even so.
And the pretty dresses are Apachii Divine Elegance.
Yeah, I don’t think Cyr was gonna be any too eager to take those clothes off. I’d thought about it and realized he was probably going to be fighty about it even if he were unconscious.
