Skyrim SSE Landscapes 1– Ivarstead and Whiterun Hold

So I am continually astonished at how lovely SSE is at landscapes. These screenshots were actually one of my initial modding walkthroughs and are not what I’d consider a really finished setup. Many of them have vanilla textures here and there and I hadn’t even turned off my UI, so you may see elements of that in places.

Unfortunately I do not recall which ENBs are in which pictures. If it’s fuzzier and more soft-focus it is probably Rudy. Rudy looks amazing in-game but the way I had it set up did not translate as well into screenshots. That said, my most favorite of all of these pictures– the last one– is the one I took with Rudy.

So– weather mods are either Aequinoctum or Obsidian Weathers or Patch for Aequinoctum and Obsidian Weathers.

ENB is either Rudy for SSE or Keizaal. There may be a couple pictures with The Truth as well.

Ivarstead area–I love how the mountain shadows affect the trees here.

Notice how the mountains suddenly get better?

Yeah, we fixed that.

Majestic Mountains (Darkside)

I also like the skies over the plains and what the grassfields look like.

    Thanks, Marmotte!

I have not yet decided which combo is best for me in SSE. I have a great affection for Obsidian (same creator as Snowfall Weathers) but Aequinoctum is also lovely.

I highly recommend checking out the mods made by Johnnywang. So far I have been happy with Luminosity in SSE and also with his blend of Obsidian and Aequinoctum.

I haven’t played SSE very much at all yet since I cannot get my people looking the way they do in Classic. I am sure more improvements on that will come in time.

The scenery in SSE is indeed beautiful, Syl. Great screenshots showcasing the landscape 🙂

There will be a few more, and if I can figure out how to do a few more things I may eventually move over to it someday.
