Just a little tease, I see. Cyr is alive, but in stasis, and Ancano isn’t sure what to do with him.

Considering how much I’ve wanted to know how Cyr is doing, I can’t believe I hadn’t read this chapter until tonight! o.O

You’re painting Ancano in a pretty agreeable light, I see (and he looks so much better in your game than in vanilla, as if I need to say that 🙂 ) It’s interesting to see him caring about something and being humble to another mer (who’s help he needs, true), when the normal game play shows him to be such an arrogant prick. I like how you and Furb have shown the favorable side of the Altmeri people. It’s good to see things from their point of view.

Still have me hanging by a thread here to find out what happens 🙂

Oh, Ancano’s an arrogant prick all right– he just isn’t going to be that way to another Altmer who’s about two hundred years his senior, is a renowned hero from the days of the Anguish, and who is known to have friends in high places.

And of course, something about this particular situation has him running scared.

Ancano wouldn’t have gotten this far in his career without some ability to be personable, hehe.

I did have fun making him. That’s a Thalmor mod that gives a few of the Altmer high-poly faces. I retextured the hair and recolored it and made some changes to the skin. The eyes are my edit and I think they’re a blend of a couple eye mods. He actually looks a bit different in these shots than he may in some others later, because he is the PC here. I used Racemenu Mimic to grab his appearance- but it has its limitations, so his facial structure isn’t going to be exactly the same.

Also his hair is custom, so I have to be careful to never open showracemenu or he goes completely bald.

NPC Ancano is actually AncanoDUPLICATE or something like that, with a completely different voicetype. Ancano himself has a unique voice (which makes him unrecruitable), and has a nasty tendency to despawn off College grounds.
